Perfect Delivery was launched in 2000 and has grown into a household name among bowlers. As one of the major bowls sponsors in South Africa, we consider our involvement in bowls as a partnership involving Perfect Delivery Brokers, SA Eagle (our underwriter) and the entire bowling fraternity (Bowls South Africa, your District, your Club and you).
Most bowlers are aware of the benefits Perfect Delivery offers them. However, below you will find some of the most important aspects that you may not know of:
Perfect Delivery is a motor and household insurance policy covering assets belonging to bowlers. This insurance includes cars, caravans, trailers, boats, house (building), contents and all risks (items such as jewellery, cameras and cell phones).
SA Eagle, one of the top short-term insurance companies in South Africa, underwrites the Perfect Delivery policy. SA Eagle is a brand name in bowls, being involved as title sponsor to national tournaments since our launch in 2000 – World Bowls 2000, SA Masters since 2001, Men’s Nationals since 2002, Women’s Nationals since 2004, and the Bowls South Africa Centenary Pairs competition in 2004. SA Eagle also retained sponsorship of the 2006 SA Masters, SA Men’s Nationals and Women’s Nationals.
The Perfect Delivery policy is administered by Perfect Delivery Brokers. The Perfect Delivery policy benefits, set out below, are negotiated by Perfect Delivery Brokers on behalf of our bowler policyholders. It is important to remember that these benefits are not available from any other broker, even though SA Eagle may be the underwriter of the other policy you have access to.
Perfect Delivery Brokers has been the title sponsor for the CGBA Pairs 2005, BGN Masters 2005 and PNB Masters 2005. We also sponsor the WPBA Men’s Fours 2006, WPBA Men’s Open, Senior and Novices Singles 2006, CBGA Fours Championships 2006, Sables Mixed Fours 2006, Sables Men’s & Ladies Singles 2006, PNB Masters 2006, BGN Masters 2006 and EGB Masters 2006.
Perfect Delivery Brokers have only bowlers as policyholders. We are totally committed to serving the bowling fraternity and bowlers’ motor and household insurance needs.
This commitment enables us to offer a personalised service to our policyholders
Our members of staff are trained to offer an exceptionally high standard of service and we undertake to settle all non-motor claims less than R10 000 within 24 hours of receipt of the necessary documentation. SA Eagle settles all other claims in terms of a service level agreement between us.
WE provide a product that addresses the specific insurance needs of bowlers
1. We pay R1 000 if you achieve an “8” or “9”. (In 2003, 2004 and 2005 we respectively paid out R112 000, R134 000 and R194 000 for 8’s and 9’s).
2.Your bowls and accessories are covered automatically up to R3 000 per set, without you having to pay any additional premium for this benefit.
3. You automatically have R10 000 legal costs insurance at a contribution of only R10 per month, with an option to increase this valuable cover to R70 000.
4. If you do not claim for three consecutive years, you need not pay any excess in case of a claim.
5. If you are aged 70 or older, your premiums remain stable without increases, unless you submit a claim.
6. If you are aged 50 or older, you pay an excess of only R250 on any motor accident, windscreen, cell phone and/or car radio claims. On motor theft or hi jacking claims your excess is only R500. There are no excess payments on any other claims.
7. You have access to a 24/7/365 emergency hotline facility to assist you in case you need an attorney, medical facility, householder and/or roadside assistance.
WE offer competitive premiums
Because we only have bowlers as policyholders, we are in a position to offer better priced policies without compromising service or cover.
Perfect Delivery also offers commercial insurance.
We also provides cover for bowls clubs and businesses run and/or owned by bowlers.
Perfect Delivery contributes financially to clubs based on the support we receive from the club’s bowlers.
For every Perfect Delivery policyholder we pay a percentage of the premium on an annuity basis to the bowler’s club. Up to the end of January 2006 we paid R604 170 to clubs nationally. Our top participating national club is Edenvale in Eastern Gauteng. So far this club has received R70 620. The amounts paid to clubs help to keep your annual club fees as low as possible!
Perfect Delivery pays a financial contribution to the Bowls South Africa Development Fund based on the support we receive from bowlers.
For every Perfect Delivery policyholder we pay a percentage of the total premium to this Fund on an annuity basis. Up to the end of January 2006 we paid R409 042 into this Fund. This amount currently grows by R11 000 per month and will grow even more as new policyholders join!
Our goal is to reach at least 20% of all bowlers in the next three years. This is well within our means. This achievement will raise our annual financial contribution to clubs and the Bowls South Africa Development Fund to R1, 2 million and R800 000 respectively!
This is no pipe dream, it falls right within the targets we set for the next three years and we know we can do it together!
